2011 Midwest Junior Team Tennis Invitational Qualification

MIDWEST JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP - 2011
This link will direct you to a historical listing of previous events.  Click the "2011..." link to be directed to the tournament webpage where you can find lodging details and other local Zionsville details.  An email will be sent out to all team members with the proper forms to sign and how to make payment for the event.  Practice times will also be solicited to work on same-gender and mixed doubles strategies.

Qualification guidelines for each age division (in order of importance):
    - Regular season rank - the top 2 players available to fill positional roster spots (final championship not counted)
    - Any player that wins the year-end Junior Grand Prix Championship, in any flight, will get an automatic bid to participate in the Midwest Junior Team Tennis Invitational.
    - Younger players playing up in the Junior Grand Prix will be invited to play in the youngest age divisional slot available, if he/she qualifies in that division; however, discretionary placement due certain extraordinary circumstances may apply depending on the age makeup of the team.
Note: This does not mean that a Girls' 14s player will play only in that slot the entire tournament.  It simply is a position on the team.
    - Positional availability - In the case where a certain spot on the team cannot be filled, Gateway Junior Tennis - Chicago reserves the right to make positional "exceptions".  If a team position    cannot be filled by a registrant of Gateway Junior Tennis - Chicago by the team registration deadline (determined by the tournament committee), a player or players of choice will be added to the lineup.  This "outside" player may be an appropriate-leveled junior tennis player in the Chicagoland area or a "borrowed" player from one of the participating teams in the event.

Age Divisional Note: The Junior Grand Prix only does not offer Girls' 14s and Girls' 16s age divisions.  The Girls' 14s positions will be selected primarily from the Girls' 15 Junior Grand Prix age division.  The Girls' 16s positions will be selected primarily from the Girls' 18s Junior Grand Prix age division.  Please note that due to many players playing in multiple divisions and skill level, discretion will be used when selecting players for the Girls' 14s and Girls' 16s age divisions.
